We had a lot of fun at Penn's Cave!

Bike Rodeo Fun

The kids did a great job at the Bike Rodeo on May 9th. We finally had pleasant weather for our ride to school, at recess, and then home again.

Magazine Famous!

The kids made the June-July issue of Quality Whitetails magazine from QDMA. You just might want to get some autographs! Good stuff!!

We want to thank the North Central PA Branch of QDMA (Quality Deer Management Association) for our classroom membership. The kids were really excited! We may even have some future Rack Pack  members in this group. We plan to use the curriculum and materials to reinforce our science an math curriculum. Most importantly, I hope to instill and educate the students on the value of conservation, respect for nature, and channel that through one of our most precious resources; Whitetail Deer 

Friday Visitors

We had some morning visitors. A male and female mallard duck came looking for a nesting spot outside our classroom. We hope they can find a safe place with all the construction that is going to happen. 

Mock Rocks

The kids really enjoyed taking apart the mock rocks! They made some great observations and had excellent questions!

Mr. Fact Fluency

They call him, Mr. Fact Fluency. The first student in third grade to be 100% fluent with his multiplication and division facts on Reflex Math. Congratulations!!
